High-quality granules with a strong slug-repellent effect on fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants, herbs, and potatoes. Suitable for balconies, patios, greenhouses, and gardens. Protects hedgehogs and pets. Extremely rain-resistant, the granules do not dissolve in damp conditions.

 

Recommended use:

Since snails are primarily nocturnal, it is best to apply COMPO Snail-free in the evening. In case of infestation, scatter the granules over a wide area, not in piles between crops. The characteristic color makes application easy to monitor. As long as the granules are visible, the snails are attracted.

Areas of application:

Slugs on cauliflower, cabbage (white, red, pointed, Brussels sprouts, and Savoy cabbage), broccoli; Swedish greens; beets (red, yellow, and white beets); spinach; types of lettuce; legumes; potatoes; sweetcorn; fresh herbs and ornamental plants, as well as slugs, garden snails (Cepaea hortensis), wood snails (Cepaea nemoralis), and heath snails (Xerolentia obvia) on strawberries, berries, and grapevines (used for table and wine grapes) outdoors and in greenhouses (ornamental plants only). The agent is toxic to Roman snails. The product should not be used in the presence of Roman snails (Helix pomatia and Helix aspersa).

 

Quantity/dosage/application:

Application: In case of infestation, distribute evenly between crops at intervals of at least 5 days. Max. 5 applications per crop or per year.

Dosage: 0.5 g/m² corresponds to approximately 33 grains per m².

Strawberries, grapes (table and wine) and berries, as well as cauliflower, cabbage (white, red, pointed, Brussels sprouts and Savoy cabbage), broccoli; swedes, beets (red, yellow, white); spinach; types of lettuce; legumes; sweetcorn; fresh herbs: The withdrawal period is covered by the application conditions and/or the remaining growing season between application and use (e.g., harvest), or setting a withdrawal period in days is not required (F). Withdrawal period for potatoes: 7 days. Ornamental plants: Setting a withdrawal period is not relevant (N). Use of the product is permitted up to the stages indicated in the respective crops: Potatoes: until the leaves and stems are dead, the stems are blanched and dry. Swedes, beets (red, yellow, white); Legumes (used as fresh and dried vegetables), sweetcorn: until the 5th leaf, pair of leaves, or whorl of leaves unfurls. Cauliflower, cabbage (white, red, pointed, Brussels sprouts, and Savoy cabbage), broccoli; lettuce varieties, spinach; fresh herbs: until the standard leaf sheath is fully extended. Strawberries, berries, and grapevines: until the end of flowering. Ornamental plants: until harvest.

 

Environmental information:

Keep pets away. Do not store in piles. If animals accidentally ingest the product, consult a veterinarian immediately and show them the packaging. Due to the uses of the product specified in the authorization, bees are not threatened (B3). The product is classified as not harmful to relevant populations of beneficial insects, predatory mites, and spiders. Do not allow the product and/or its container to enter waterways. (Do not clean application equipment in the immediate vicinity of surface water. / Prevent indirect entry through yard and street drains.) Use of the product in or directly near surface water or coastal waters is not permitted. Regardless, the minimum distance from surface water required by state law must be observed. Violations may be punished with a fine of up to €50,000.

 Instructions for user protection:

Avoid unnecessary contact with the product. Misuse may result in health problems. Wear sturdy shoes (e.g., rubber boots), work clothes (at least a long-sleeved shirt and long pants), and gloves when applying/handling the product. Keep out of reach of children. Keep children away.

 

FIRST AID:

If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show this label if possible). Wash your hands with water as a precaution. Move affected individuals to fresh air. Remove contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. After inhalation: Move to fresh air; seek medical advice if symptoms develop. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.

Storage/Shelf Life

Store in a cool, dry place. Dispose of empty packaging for recycling and take any packaging containing product residue to a household chemical collection point. Do not reuse the original packaging or empty containers.
