Celaflor Lawn Weedex weed killer contains four active ingredients that are absorbed both by the leaves and, to a lesser extent, by the roots of the weeds, and then distributed systemically throughout the entire plant.

  • Combats more than 40 species of weeds right down to the roots
  • With root and leaf effects
  • Fully systemic
  • Very good lawn tolerance
  • Not harmful to bees

The quadruple mixture in Celaflor Lawn Weedex ensures a very broad spectrum of efficacy, so that not only easy-to-control weeds such as dandelions, daisies, and white clover are eliminated, but also a large number of difficult-to-control weeds. Problematic weeds such as ground ivy, speedwell, wood sorrel, and thistles are safely controlled. At the same time, Celaflor Lawn Weedex is very well tolerated by lawns because the four active ingredients are contained in the product at a relatively low concentration.

  • Celaflor Lawn Weedex is not harmful to bees and can therefore be used without restrictions, even on flowering weeds.

Easily controlled

Field mustard, rushes, broadleaf plantain, self-heal, sweet clover, cinquefoil, speedwell, goosefoot, daisies, bittercress, common groundsel, common amaranth, bird's-foot trefoil, garden sorrel, knotweed, hedge mustard, shepherd's purse, cornflower, ragwort, sheep sorrel, cleavers, bulbous buttercup, thistle, creeping buttercup, dandelion, orache, common plantain, black bindweed, wood sorrel, yarrow, prostrate knotweed, scarlet pimpernel, clover (white), vetch, wild carrot, field bindweed.

Less easily controlled

Ground elder, horsetail, giant hogweed, cow parsley.

Not sufficiently controlled

Grasses, mosses.

Plant compatibility

  • Due to the diversity of varieties available, intolerance to certain grass varieties cannot be ruled out in the year of sowing. Therefore, Celaflor Lawn Weedex can only be used from the second year onwards.

Application

  • Time of application: During the growing season, from April to September.
  • Do not use in the year of sowing.
  • Maximum 1 application per crop or per year.
  • Do not feed crops/mown materials produced during the year of treatment to animals.

Preparation and application of the spray/watering liquid

  • Example for 1 liter of solution (enough for 1 square meter): add 1 ml of Celaflor Lawn Weedex to 500 ml of water.
  • If necessary, rinse the measuring cup with clean water, pour the rinse water into the container, and fill up to 1 liter with the remaining amount of water.
  • Stir the solution.
  • Apply with a watering can or sprayer to weeds that are well-developed or at the rosette stage.
  • After use, carefully clean the application equipment on non-vitrified surfaces, first with water and then with a detergent solution.
  • Distribute the cleaning water over the previously treated area.

Waiting times

  • Open land, lawns, grass, and hay: the waiting time is covered by the application conditions and/or the remaining growing season between application and use (e.g., harvest), or no waiting time in days is required.

Additional instructions for use

  • Celaflor Lawn Weedex works from approximately 10 °C and should be used in warm weather – not above 25 °C.
  • Apply to well-developed foliage during the growing season, ensuring uniform distribution to guarantee an effective result.
  • The lawn should not be mown for 3 days before and 4 days after application.
  • When using Celaflor Lawn Weedex, the leaves must be dry and remain dry for a few hours (6 hours) after application.
  • Weeds like white clover show visible changes after just a few days.
  • For other weeds like speedwell, it may take several weeks to achieve the final control result. However, the next lawn mowing can be performed approximately 4 days after using Celaflor Lawn Weedex.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it on my lawn?
Yes. This selective weedkiller removes broadleaf weeds without harming the grass. On newly sown lawns, check the label for how long to wait after sowing.
When should I treat?
During the growing season, in mild weather, on well-developed weeds. The exact conditions (temperature, time of year) are given in the description and on the label.
When can I mow?
As a rule, avoid mowing for a few days before and after treatment so the product has time to work. The exact interval is given in the product description.
What if it rains after treatment?
Avoid treating if rain is forecast within the next few hours: the product needs time to be absorbed. Treat in dry weather if possible.
