Refill for the Neudomon trap designed to monitor codling moths in apples and pears, whose larvae cause worm-eaten fruit.

Key features

  • Contents: 2 glue inserts and 2 pheromone capsules.
  • Refill designed for a full season.
  • Specific pheromone attracting male codling moths.
  • Insecticide-free and does not attract bees or other beneficial insects.
  • Trap body not included.

Instructions for use

  • Separate a glue insert at the perforated line and unfold it to expose the sticky surface.
  • Without touching the capsule with bare hands, place it in the center of the glue insert.
  • Slide the insert into the existing trap, sticky side facing up, then close the trap.
  • Hang the trap from May to September in an apple or pear tree, at eye level and if possible in the direction of the prevailing wind.
  • Check the trap once a week.
  • Replace both the pheromone capsule and the glue insert simultaneously after a maximum of six weeks.

Precautions

  • Before purchasing, ensure that the compatible Neudomon trap body is already available.
  • Do not touch the pheromone capsule with bare hands to avoid reducing its effectiveness. Use a tissue or a piece of paper.
  • Prevent leaves and branches from touching the sticky surface.
  • Remove traces of glue from clothing using cooking oil, then wash with soap or detergent.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

The label, packaging, and official product instructions remain the priority.
